For a good scan
- Use good light and keep the whole grid in the frame.
- Hold the phone parallel to the page. A curved book page is straightened by the app.
- You can correct a misread digit on the review screen.
- Classic 9×9 sudoku and 6×6 mini sudoku are supported.
Free version and Premium
- The free version gives you 3 scans a day and 3 hints per game; when they run out you can watch an optional ad for more.
- Premium offers unlimited scans, no ads, technique explanations and step-by-step solutions.
- To cancel your subscription: on Android, Google Play → Payments & subscriptions; on iPhone, Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their refund policies.
- On a new phone, tap "Restore purchases" on the "Scandoku Premium" screen in the app to get Premium back.
Your data and privacy choices
Scandoku needs no account. Your games, statistics, badges and settings stay on your phone; the photo you take is processed on the phone, never sent anywhere and not stored. If you delete the app, your progress is deleted too. If ad consent is required where you are (European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland), you can change your choice under Settings → "Privacy choices". Details: Privacy Policy · Terms of Use.
