Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Scandoku app (the "App") provided by TURUNCU KATMAN YAZILIM VE TEKNOLOJİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (the "Company"). By using the App you accept these terms. On iPhone, Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies; these terms apply in addition to it.

1. Scanning and solutions

Reading a puzzle from a photo may not be perfect for every photo. The App shows the digits it has read for your confirmation, and you can correct a misread digit. The solution is based on the digits you confirm. The App is for entertainment and learning.

2. Premium subscription and purchases

  • Premium is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription and includes unlimited scans, no ads, technique explanations and step-by-step solutions. Current prices are shown in the App.
  • The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers; you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
  • Payment is charged to your Google Play or App Store account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price, charged to your store account, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • To cancel: on Android, Google Play → Payments & subscriptions; on iPhone, Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their refund policies.
  • On a new device you can get your purchases back with "Restore purchases" in the App.

3. Ads

The free version shows ads; Premium users do not see ads. When your free scans or hints run out, you can watch an optional rewarded ad for more. Interstitial ads may be shown when a game ends, at least 3 minutes apart.

4. Intellectual property

The puzzles, texts, design and software in the App belong to or are licensed to the Company. They may not be copied or distributed except for personal, non-commercial use. The rights to the puzzles you scan belong to their publishers; the App only helps you solve them for your personal use.

5. Limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company is not liable for damages that may arise from reading errors or from the use of solutions.

6. Changes

The Company may update these terms; significant changes will be announced in the App.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. For consumer transactions, consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts have jurisdiction. For other disputes, the courts and enforcement offices of Aksaray have jurisdiction.
